







Dr. Awan completed accredited training in Surgery in England (UK) and then started Internal Medicine residency at the University of North Carolina program at Wilmington, NC. He went on to complete fellowship training in the subspecialty of Gastroenterology at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine, Albuquerque.
Dr. Awan served as an assistant professor of Gastroenterology at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine, Albuquerque.
He then moved into the Dallas area. He is currently on staff at the Denton Regional Medical Center and Presbyterian Hospital.
